Vehicles that pass over bridges inflict varying stressors onto them, and over time cause subtle structural deformations that can lead to catastrophic failure of the structure. Having sensors that monitors these changes will allow the maintenance operators to quickly understand which structures may be experience dangerous levels of structural changes.
