Industrial Safety Monitoring

The need for safety should come paramount, and the need to monitor hazardous environments can be done by monitoring temperatures of enclosed areas, or monitoring structural changes using vibrational analysis to make sure critical components are stable.

Current and voltage imbalances within a connected system can lead to short circuits. These short circuits are the leading cause of industrial fires, and dependent on the factory conditions, this is exacerbated. If the factory produced a large amounts of dust, then dust fires or explosions can be triggered from a short circuit. By monitoring the imbalances within a system, it is possible to prevent these shorts by properly balancing the loads on each phase of the power.
